Season One
Get Dan a Burrito
A film crew, helmed by an avid mountain cyclist, tries to film a show about extreme mountain biking, New England Freeride Unleashed. Their problems begin when they are forced to use a "star" who cannot ride well but really thinks that he can. In this episode, we find the crew attempting to film their inaugural episode (stay tuned for episode 2, a "prequel" explaining why they are stuck with Dan Dane as the star). The director, Lindsey, is faced with inept and uninterested crew members, bugs, and Dan Dane, the star who is more interested in being a TikTok influencer than fulfilling his obligations to the show.
A Show About What?
The second episode of Balls of Tin takes us back in time to Lindsey and Edwardo approaching Lindsey's ex-girlfriend, Claire, an exec at a streaming media company, to fund New England Freeride Unleashed.
Dan Does ‘Nam
The crew visits Vietnam in Milford, MA. This is a built-up mounting biking area that is owned by NEMBA. Haunted by flashbacks of his youthful cycling days, Dan makes an attempt to perform a scary stunt and injures himself. Bowers steps in.
The Claire Daines
The crew hangs out after a filming day for apres drinks. It happens to be Dan's birthday, so Claire brings him an ice cream cake. Some of the crew grow closer and others become inebriated.
Dan Cures Cancer
McKenzie, Lindsey, and Edwardo meet with Claire to discuss funding for the season finale. McKenzie gives a presentation to justify additions to the budget and Dan interrupts with his idea for a new sports drink.
The Finale
The crew heads to PRKR MTN to film the season finale. They are all staying at a condo together while filming the finale. Dan is challenged with the final riding sequence and Claire shows up to the production.
